Quote health is the answer to one question: may a new market open against this asset right now? It is computed from the chain, per asset, at the moment you look.

States

HEALTHY	the oracle passes every required validation	allowed
STALE	the answer is older than the permitted heartbeat	blocked
PAUSED	the oracle or the underlying quote is not considered safe to use	blocked
CORPORATE ACTION	a multiplier change is pending inside the buffer	blocked
UNSUPPORTED	not approved in the Quote Registry	blocked
VERIFYING	known to the application, not yet launch-enabled	blocked

Weekends are supposed to fail

Equity feeds publish on an 86,400-second heartbeat and follow US market hours. Over a weekend a perfectly healthy equity feed is legitimately 26 to 60 hours old, so a max staleness of one heartbeat blocks weekend launches for stock quotes.

Warnings that are only warnings

Robinhood's trading-halt flag and an asset's ACTIVE/INACTIVE status are available over REST only. No contract can enforce them, so the interface shows them as warnings and labels them as warnings. They are not guarantees and TAPEZERO does not present them as guarantees.
