Glossary

Fourteen terms this manual uses precisely.

Quote asset
The asset a market is priced in, and the asset its fees accrue in. ETH or an approved Robinhood Stock Token.
Launch token
The fixed-supply ERC-20 created by a launch. 1,000,000,000 units, 18 decimals, no owner.
FDV
Fully diluted valuation: token price × total supply. With a fixed supply and no vesting, it is simply the market's implied total value.
Opening FDV
The valuation a creator asks the market to open at. Determines the token's opening USD price.
Opening tick
The valid Uniswap tick the market actually opens at — the nearest one at or below the requested price.
First tick
The same thing, said as a brand term. The moment a market acquires a price.
sqrtPriceX96
Uniswap's price representation: the square root of the price ratio, in Q64.96 fixed point.
Hook
A Uniswap v4 contract called at defined points in a pool's lifecycle. TAPEZERO's hook enforces one market's frozen rules.
Market rule
Optional behaviour enforced inside the swap: anti-snipe, launch tax, auto burn, the 500th-buy pot.
Single-sided liquidity
A launch position consisting entirely of launch tokens. Quote inventory arrives from buyers.
Quote health
Whether a new market may open against an asset right now: healthy, stale, paused, corporate action, unsupported, verifying.
Market Manifest
The permanent record of a market's launch-time configuration, including the block it was frozen at.
Config hash
keccak256 of the canonical encoding of everything frozen at launch. Recomputable by anyone.
Fee Right
An ERC-721 representing the entitlement to a market's future creator fees. Economic only; no control. Disabled in V1.
500th buy
The pot module: every Nth qualifying buy takes an accumulated pot in the quote asset. Deterministic, public, raceable. Disabled by default.
The Tape
The list of every market that has launched, with its rules and quote health.

TAPEZERO is an independent protocol and is not affiliated with Robinhood, Uniswap or Chainlink. The contracts are unaudited. Nothing here is investment advice.
